Subclass 461 The New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship visa

The New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship visa (Subclass 461) is a temporary Australian visa for non-NZ citizen family members (partners, children, parents) of an NZ citizen holding a Special Category Visa (Subclass 444).

It allows them to live, work, and study in Australia for up to five years and is renewable, offering a pathway to stay long-term with their NZ family, though it doesn't lead directly to permanent residency.

A black letter board with a wooden frame displaying a quote about being apart but staying connected, attributed to Winnie the Pooh. The quote reads, "Even if we're apart, I'll always be with you." There are small photos, a passport, and decorative dried flowers on the board, and a framed photo of two women sitting on the beach.
